BasiCColor Display 2.5 and OS-10.3 and Spyder II question

Does someone know if this pair should work together? When I launch ICC
Display 2.5 in 10.3, nothing happens though the installation program
seems to run OK, ...which could be the answer to my question.
ICC Display 3.X was the last version that supported the Spectrocam and
it should work with 10.3 (not Tiger), but unfortunately it has been
withdrawn. Alternatively, what quality can I expect from a Spyder II
with ICC Display 4.0? Seems to me like running good software on a cheap
hardware, but sometimes the price doesn't say it all. Thanks for your time!
Regards
Paul Schilliger
