Anyone happen to know the average life expectancy of an Apple LCD? I have a 20" that's coming up on 4 years.
Thanks!

Life expectancy of LCD displays are measured in hours of use as opposed to years. LCD displays do not have color shifts as they get older, unlike CRTs. They lose luminosity. When your LCD display no longer can reach your target luminosity or if dark areas on your screen appear, then it's time to buy a new one.
