Just to add to what Roger said:
Yes, Colorburst's profiler, Spectralvision Pro is a subset of Monaco
Profiler. The current version, 2.3 supports EyeOne Pro with & without the iO
scanning table.
Check the list archives (or Colorburst's excellent support forum) for why
they chose to build their linearizations & profiles with UV-cut instruments
- this means you need to also use a UV-cut spectro to relinearize their
existing "Environments".
The new version 5 Colorburst is said to support an additional method for
linearization that is L*a*b*-based (instead of chroma), so ?maybe? This
might obviate the need for a UV-cut spectro to linearize & profile papers
containing optical brighteners.
N.B. - I should qualify this by pointing out I use the Mac Xproof-17
version, which might have some differences from the one you're considering.
HTH,
John
