When you say, "correct values," are you entering Lab values, or RGB
values?
If you soft proof, do the colors appear ok, or are some OoG? Are you
printing with RelCol or Per intent?
3 read the printed patches with i1/iShare,
4 enter them into a copy of the ColorChecker target in CS2,
5 and compare them with the true values using Rags Gardner's

Have you tried plotting the ColorChecker colors in ColorThink and
compared them with your printer profile to see if they're in gamut?
Some ColorChecker colors are OoG in common RGB color spaces. Check
out Bruce Lindbloom's site for a recent "chapter" on the MacBeth
ColorChecker. I'm on the road, so I can't repeat the test for you.
