Gents, I've been running some tests using the ISOnewpaper26V4 profile for a client and have noticed that in a straight conversion from Adobe1998 with the shadow ranged to 12/12/12 the total ink value comes in at around 212 %, typically 49/37/36/90, against a predicted value of 240%, 59/45/41/95. If the cmyk file is adjusted in levels to pull the shadow up to 240% it does actually seem to improve the image, generally pulling the saturation up a bit. Any ideas?
