You were right.  CMYK_A.icc, Gray_A.icc, & sRGB_A.icc = hp color
Laserjet CMYK v402, hp color Laserjet Gray v402 ,& hp color Laserjet RGB
v402.  They were in ~/Library/Printers/hp/Profiles.  Why be so obscure, I ask?
