And about the match on press? Good results?
I suggest you to take a look at our software called PerfX Press Curves™.
It allows to calculate curves to match TVI and/or Gray Balance
standard references OR any mesured reference.
So for your needs, you could read your laminated sheet as the
"reference" and your non-laminated sheet as the "sample". Then PerfX
Press Curves™ will give you the correction curves to match the
measures reference (laminated).
You can use those curve’s correction values to customize your GRACoL
profile!

For proofing and conversion is my goal. I have factored in the
changes that lamination has on primaries, secondaries, NPD and
white point as well as TVI when I implemented G7. The apearence of
our laminated sheets closely matches an unlaminated normal G7 press
sheet. I did this so that if a client has a collateral piece that
they are printing at another G7 printer it will look simular even
though there is lamination on our piece.
