Hey Louis,
The match is very good. I am pretty happy with it. In order to generate a new data set I would also need L*a*b* corrections as well. To my knowledge, I cant obtain these from TVI or a neutral ramp.

And about the match on press? Good results?
I suggest you to take a look at our software called PerfX Press CurvesT.
It allows to calculate curves to match TVI and/or Gray Balance
standard references OR any mesured reference.
So for your needs, you could read your laminated sheet as the
"reference" and your non-laminated sheet as the "sample". Then PerfX
Press CurvesT will give you the correction curves to match the
measures reference (laminated).
You can use those curve's correction values to customize your GRACoL
profile!
