There are a host of "minor" problems with CS3 that make it annoying to
work with. If you haven't noticed yet, there are three Full Screen
modes - the black background without the menu bar, and two gray-
background views: Maximize and Full Screen with menu bar. In Maximize
you can't pan the image off screen, which can be annoying when you're
zoomed in and editing close to the edge, but in the Full Screen mode
(gray w/mb), if you try to do anything anywhere near the edge of the
image, the image flies out of view at hyper-speed, screwing up what you
were doing.
Other things... Why did they get rid of the pallet well? Why did they
super-size the Curves dialog? ....and maybe it's just me, but when I
open multiple images at the same time, Photoshop opens and reopens them
over and over again twenty or more times. The fastest way to get
through it is to click on the desktop so they flash by more quickly.
Adobe support didn't have an answer.
