Spot on, as the Brits would say.
I was having a dickens of a time with my eye-one UV trying to profile
our HP 5500 and a third party matte paper. When Onyx updated their
support to include the iSis, the process was quick and painless. I
also use the iSis to profile our Noritsu dDP 421, which has no
internal calibration and drifts constantly. Again, using the iSis,
the profiling process is quick, painless, and spot on (neutral grays).
The productivity benefit is that you can feed the sheet and go on to
something else while it reads.
No two bit about it,
Richard

Hello David,
I don't know how much profiling you do but I'd consider the Eye-One iSis,
The Eye-One Pro is a versatile spectro but it tends to be the "Jack
of all trades, master of none" instrument. The Eye-One Isis on the
other hand is both faster and much more consistent/repeatable than
the Eye-One Pro and is switchable between UV-cut and no filter
measurements. You'd need two Eye-One Pros to do that.

I am about to upgrade my printers, spectrophotometer, and software

Profilemaker 5, and Color Eyes or BasICColor. I wanted to get any
feedback and recommendations on the selection as well as any
recommendations for where to buy it at a decent price. Please feel
