How would you compare iSis to DTP70 for accuracy ? I live very well

I don't know about ACCURACY at this point (it's on my to-do list to
compare the iSis to my DTP70 using my "Net Profiled" SpectroEye as
the reference instrument) but the iSis is a bit more consistent/
repeatable than the DTP70. Others have compared the two and have had
similar conclusions.
From a "visual" standpoint, I believe my iSis is giving me profiles
(I use GMG mostly) that are more visually neutral than my DTP70. The
DTP70, whether in no filter or UV-cut mode, also seemed to produce
neutral grays that were a bit on the yellow-ish/green-ish side. This
seemed to hold true whether I was using GMG device links or standard
ICC profiles. I'm perceiving my iSis profiles as being much improved
in this regard.
Without question, the paper/media handling of the iSis is much better
than the DTP70. I just had a case last week where I had to feed a
chart 2-3 times thru a DTP70 because of slip slippage in the rollers
and where the length of the chart dropping over the feed tray caused
a slight pull on the chart causing an alignment failure near the end
of the measurement cycle (it always seema to fail just as it gets to
the last 2-4 rows of patches! Grrr!). The iSis on the other hand
passes the paper FLAT through the instrument had seems to have a much
more positive paper feed/roller mechanism. Just a better built
instrument in my opinion. About the only thing I miss about the DTP70
is the ability to do both black and white-backed measurements.

Terry
