Of course, most good RIPs can honor RGB to CMYK conversions. Of course.
Until you stumble upon GMG's RGB to CMYK conversion. Then you understand
that GMG's RGB to CMYK conversion is unique and a quantum leap ahead of most
good RIPs, and light years ahead of Epson's own RGB driver.

Roger, you're not dealing with a rube who has no understanding of color management or mathematics. Please be so kind as to specify what you're talking about. Unless there are specifics and numbers this isn't helpful at all. The differences you speak of must be real, measurable, and of utility to the user.

If I was a
photographer, I wouldn't hesitate one minute and run to the GMG store.

I wish I could send you samples...

Roger Breton

Why can't you? My address is in plain view. Better yet, let me send you an image file, plus an RGB target with the reference file and send back the results; I'll do likewise. If it's a quantum leap it should be not only visible but measurable.
