We are using Adobe CS3.
We have had some projects that have almost gone sour
because of images that seem to be doing some
conversion in Illustrator.
For instance, images that have a profile embedded in
them such as US Sheetfed Coated, that are mereley
linked in an Illustrator document with an untagged
profile, change color values from the original file
when postscpited and ran throuh Prinergy. When we
embedd the images in Illustrator rather than just link
the images,it seems to retain the integrity of values
of the original file OK.
When we postscript, we do not use a profile. We tell
Illustrator to keep the numbers.
I am just curiuos if any one knows why the images
would change when linking to them verses embedding
them.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Steve Lehning
