Hi Todd,
LT version is capable of "Easy mode" only .. quality of profile is same, but you can not "calibrate" your display (which can be questionable for many laptops .. where "calibration" mean simply brightness setting) before profile creating ... .. and maybe you are limited in choice of target settings (white point ... ) .. but in this one i am not sure ..
as Marco says .. hardware is same, and you can upgrade software later ... if this worth 80$ ? i don't know :)
