The Huey / Huey pro may also makes sense and due to the on-the-fly luminance
adjustment it makes sense for a mobile unit in different lighting
environments, too.
The mentioned future use for other display may be a critical issue. EyeOne
(as the original sequel gammma) and other TI-Sensor based colorimeters use
gelatine filters that age over the years. A usage for more than two years
may already show a color precision decrease. Thus, the measurement device is
not a long term investment. Just only for profiling a Laptop with little
expectations on color precision, the Huey or Huey Pro is maybe enough.
