Good evening everyone,
I'm hunting for the "Accuracy" specifications of the EyeOnePro. X-Rite
current's i1pro brochure found here
http://www.xrite.com/documents/literature/en/420139_i1System_Brochure_en.pdf
..is not very helpful in this regard since Accuracy is not quoted at all
anywhere in this brochure (see the last page) which seems the only place on
the whole X-Rite site where one could find the specifications of the i1pro.
This brochure does contain 'some' statement of Accuracy for the i1display
but it is stated in some kind of relative (convoluted?) way to the i1pro's
Accuracy itself, which itself is not quoted anywhere in this brochure.
Beats me.
What I'm particularely after is the "Accuracy" in x,y for a white point
(presumably 6500K, on a choice of Reference Monitor) and, if possible, as
that would be the cherry on the icing, "Accuracy" in x,y for R,G,B.
My research into other instrument's performance typically turned out that,
on a white point, Accuracy is often quoted in the order of ±0.002 while it
is often in the order of ±0.004 or (worse) ±0.006 for R,G,B.
Any pointers is appreciated.
And perhaps, for the benefit of everyone, X-Rite's brochure could be amended
to include this kind of useful information? One thing sure, short-term
repeatability is not the same as accuracy.
