Since you put it this way.........
Why is conducting what is really a pretty simple
process (profiling a display; you don't really have to calibrate
it) so damn
complicated?
You are right , I dont have to perform a calibration first before
profiling. but if i do the profile will be better.
and since you referenced printer profiling
specifically , ................
you "dont have to" calibrate before profiling there either but I bet
near all on this list that have ever profiled a printer knows the
profile is much better with precalibration or linearization of the
printer is done first. how would this differ from monitor profiling?
