Yes, that's the way I read it. See 3.1 on page 22 of the 2nd edition
and the sections following, plus 2.1 Note 4 on page 20.

The tables printed in the 2nd edition on page 56 are termed "abridged"
matching functions, implying abridged from the 1nm tables. I got
the 1nm data from <http://cvision.ucsd.edu/index.htm>.
The code is in xicc/xspect.c, the tables about line 1898, and
line 2651.
