standards:

Point taken. FIRST 3.0 does require inks comply with ISO 2846-5, but
differes from ISO 12647-2 in regards to printed Lab values. First offers
3 sets of values for all substrates based on ink type (UV, Water or
Solvent based inks), where ISO 12647-6 publishes three sets of Lab
values (apparently for all ink types) based on paper type (Coated,
Uncoated/corrugated, or Film/Foil). The default ink sequence for both is
YCM, though First doesn't not list overprint Lab values.

It'll be interesting to see how FIRST 4.0 relates to all this.

Mike
