That presents an interesting question. If X-Rite is in as bad a shape as
Motley Fool implies, and goes under, who is the competitor? Apple?
Microsoft? 5 years ago I would have said Kodak, or Fuji, but not today. This
may present some real opportunities for companies like Data-Color if they
play their cards right. It presents a very interesting scenario in short
term. And some very troubling implications for the long term in our
industry.




There is no money in color management so when they do fold, someone will pick up a company at a killer deal and whittle it down to non- professional hardware and software.
