I've tried importing an image from Photoshop to
QuickTime.
At first the image looked like in the same Gamma as
the one
in Photoshop. But after exporting, it looked paler, as
if it's
compensated to be watch in 2.2 Gamma display.
So, if that QuickTime document is in 1.8 display, it
will
look paler than the original.

And so, media creators should use 1.8 Gamma, media
watcher should use 2.2 Gamma ? What a mess.

I don't know if 2.2 Gamma looks bad for DVD in Mac,
because the place I am now doesn't has a DVD movie
around.
But the trailers downloaded from the web look fine.
I don't know if it's correct since I don't have a
reference
studio monitor to compare.

Regards,
Nipat
