According to ColorPort manual you can save ColorPort measurement as Monaco session.

Not quite, you can save in a variety of formats depending on the target in question.

Scott,

It's on last page (5) of the manual. There is even a screenshot "MonacoPROFILER 4.8 Session" as a format choice...

www.xrite.com/documents/manuals/en/ColorPort_Basic_User_Guide_v152_en.pdf

I don't see this option in save data formats. Is this ONLY available for Xrite formatted charts built in Profiler or ColorPort?

Yes. For BA's target's, save in CGATS format and use Bill's "Extract Monaco LAB" Applescript to convert the CGATS file to a MP compatible (and much smaller) file. Then use MP's "Import" feature at the "Read Patches" page.

BA's script works only with 2 RGB charts (729 and 1728). My chart is CMYK 1617.

I used BA's chart because I wanted to use the same chart in ProfileMaker and Profiler. I have no issues reading it in ProfileMaker but not so in Profiler.

Is there a way to use the same chart in both applications? Any chart?

Derek Lambert
