Yes, the diffuser is mentioned in Optix XR Pro manual
as
‘optional’. And there is even a mysterious empty pit
on the
package as if it was for storing something. I tried
using
the Eye One Display 2's diffuser but I think it didn't
give
correct result.
Anyway, I've found that it is far more repeatable than
the Eye One Display 2.
