Derrick Brown from Integrated Color pointed out to me that ColorEyes
Display can actually use the DTP94 for ambient light measurement, and
fair enough, that's true, but it's the *only* software that can do
that with the DTP94.
X-Rite planned to offer an ambient light head for the DTP94 (it's even
already in the manual somewhere), but never got around to release it
because of the GMG merger and the subsequent focus on the i1 Display.
The results from ColorEyes Display & DTP94 weren't as good/repeatable
as with measurement devices that are "officially" suited for this
task, but it does work with this one application.
