Eizo's Color Navigator v5 does have a validation option (with
trending). Measures either simple (32 patches) or detailed (145
patches) validation and reports max and average delta E (76, 94,
2000). The target is basically RGB values thrown through the monitor
profile to derive a reference, then it compares that to measured values.
I avoided previous versions of Color Navigator, but I would describe
version 5 as competent. I still think the manual adjustment features
hover between useless and dangerous though.
As far as monitor validation, like others here have mentioned, I'm
liking BabelColor PatchTool's Display check using the same criterion
as Idealiance's Monitor Certification. Takes a while to go through the
IT874 chart though (40 some minutes). ;)
I'm not aware of any uniformity feature, but I'm on an earlier CG220.
In fact, Color Navigator irritatingly centers the calibration screen,
snapping it back to center if you dare to move it.
