Hello color experts,
I'm looking for a device that will give me the spectral power
distribution for halogen and LED light sources. The light sources are
placed behind a diffusor - size is about 50x50mm. The halogen lamps
I'd like to test are either 35 or 50 watts. I'd also like to measure
the effect of various dichroic filters.
It would be nice to be able to sample a smaller area on the diffusor
so I can also get a rough idea about the homogeneity of the
illumination and if there are any SPD shifts at different locations.
If the device has an LCD display that shows me the SPD that's nice.
More important would be a way to download recorded SPDs to the
computer (USB). Mac compatible software would be nice too.
I have zero knowledge about what devices are out there to help me do
this and would welcome some advice.
