Can this be done?

I want to make a newer printer, print like an older printer that had a cast?

A few years back we made giclée prints on an Epson 9500. It had a Fiery RIP front end. I made my own profiles but of course even with the Fiery color settings set to off there was still an effect going on that skewed my profile.

Generally, the output was warmer then what it should have been, so all my older files look cool and print colder when output now using a modern RIP where I can control the workflow better.

I need to reproduce an old scan that was printed through the Fiery, and was dialed in for that workflow, but now I need to print it with different inks, printer, RIP and a much better, i.e. accurate, profile.

I have the old profile and the new profile and I do have ColorThink 3.0 Pro and for an editor I have MonacoProfiler.

Would I need to make a device link?
Can this even be done, preserving an old printer cast and making it print that same way on a different printer?

My brain is getting twisted around so I hope this makes sense?

Thank you,
David Wollmann
