Hello David,
Short answer, it can't be done.
The problem you have is that the old profile does NOT represent
what your old printer actually did print.
So no profile conversion or devicelink would help until you edit
your old printer profile to match your old prints. Pretty hopeless
if the printer does not exist anymore.
