The problem is that many of us would like SpectroCheck to also offer a way of "reconcile" differences among instruments, much like netProfiler does. At present, SpectroCheck is a "static" tool in that it tells us whether a SpectroDens of a SpectroDrive is in spec. But there is nothing, no calculated coefficients that could be downloaded into the firmware to correct for any discrepancies or align it back to some external references or standard.
