X-Rite Colormunki and loss of DDC after software installation

I've had a curious loss of DDC for other applications such as ColorEyes, and
i1 Match after installing the early shipping versions of ColorMunki.

Has anyone else seen this, and is your DDC working in harmony with CM
software?
