Yes it always has. I have an old MDD Mac and never installed CM on that one
and it still works fine on the same cables.
I installed CM software on a a MacPRo, MacBook Pro, Boot Camp XP SP2, and a
PC XP SP2. The same CRT LACie that works on the old Mac with 10.4.11 doesn't
work on the MacIntel , nor the portable . A new HP 24" Dream Color doesn't
work either on either of these two . I read on the LL forum that the CM
software changes the DDC tags from 0 to 1. On Windows. When he used regedit
to reset the tags DDC was once again restored. I have no idea how to change
the tags on unix.
I have been using CE in manual mode, as I have no choice.
BTW even DDC through i1 Match no longer works.
I also clean installed both 10.4.11 and 10.5 on a separate volume, swapped
PCIe slots, cables, etc but no luck.
