I've been told that, in terms of dot pitch, 24" is a "sweet spot" for
monitors that are displaying 1920 x 1200. Any larger, and you might
start to see the effects of individual pixels such as aliasing on
diagonal lines.
I just bought the HP LP2475w and, after calibration, I am very happy
with the quality. If you haven't already seen it, take a look at the
