Jesse,

As some of the others on this forum are getting touchy about not staying on topic (colour
management) I will keep this short. Before you get tooooo excited you should have a look at
some of the other contributions. As far as your Lab values go in printing 'white' means NO INK.
Therefore NO OVERPRINT.

you could have a spot colour OPAQUE white but I'v not encountered that very often. At least not
as an overprint.
