Calibration of laptops with additional monitors

  • Subject: Calibration of laptops with additional monitors

I am a D.C. based photographer working in Asia this year. So, instead of my Eizo, etc. I am working with a 15" MacBook Pro laptop, a 20" Samsung SyncMaster 204B and a bunch of 500 GB Seagate USB drives. I am finding that calibrating is very awkward, particularly the two screens from the laptop. I have found no comprehensive site describing procedures - neither Apple nor xrite (I have an eye one and eyeone match 3 with me) have a good description of procedures. I have read that one should disconnect all external devices before calibrating, which I hadn't thought of, but adjusting luminance, for one is a real issue.

Can anyone direct me to a site which deals with these issues?

Thanks. Sheppard Ferguson _______________________________________________
