OK, not to beat a dead dog....

I agree about using the various controls to produce a desired color
appearance. But how does the ugly overlay of the gamut warning help here?
Viewing a custom proof setup (with the before and after as discussed) is
pretty useful (more useful if you guys fix a few issues). But the overlay?
Useful in versions previous to PS5 but today?

The image is out of gamut. What does the overlay do to help here?
