Fix for out of gamut overlay?

  • Subject: Fix for out of gamut overlay?

I agree that producing a Delta-E false color shaded map of out of gamut
areas would be compute intensive. However, here is what I would find most
valuable.

Many parts of the existing out-of-gamut map are just barely out of gamut -
they are so close that they do not need correction. However, other parts are
definitely in need of correction.

What if there were a setting or preference that allowed the user to set the
threshold of "out-of-gamutness" that the user want to see as a useful area?
That would solve many of my problems very simply.

Thanks,

Mark Rice
