Well, Klaus, I agree we can play the game a bit further.
- Assuming we have a dcraw binary, we can drag it from a finder
window into a terminal window and type return. which should yield a usage .
- Then we can cd to that directory and type something like
./dcraw -T -o2 L1000401.DNG
and get an output sRGB Tiff file. Knowing that dragging a DNG file
into the terminal window gives its absolute path also helps :)
of course, it might be simpler to find one of the myriad GUI wrappers
of dcraw which people have written to protect human beings from Unix.
But why, why are we assuming that Ken has a working binary ?
