Hi there,
After many years of using a variety of Epson Printers (last model 9600
with profiled papers thru the driver) I have just installed a Canon
iPF8100. I am very impressed with the colours and especially the black
and white using the PS3 Plug in that Canon supplies (with their papers
and profiles). I want to have some non Canon papers profiled to use
thru the Plug in. I don't make the profiles myself but am printing the
targets supplied by the paper company who will make the profiles.
My basic question is it is ok / advisable / wise to profile thru a
Plug in? It allows to select no colour management to print the targets.
I am a photographer printing my own work on three main surfaces:
cotton rag / canvas / and lustre.
Thanks for any advice someone on the list may have.
Cheers
Paul
