Thanks for the suggestion. This setting is also in PMP 5.05, which is what
we use, but I don't think it solves the problem. Those settings are for the
hardware calibration, which I stated won't work with the Cinema Display
(except for setting the luminance). This is because there is not control of
the white point as with CRTs where you can adjust the intensity of each
electron gun individually. So this particular target white point menu will
have no effect on calibrating a Cinema Display.
After measuring the monitor when you go to build the ICC profile, you have
the choice of D65, D50, and Measured. This is where I would need 5500K.
If I misunderstood this tool, please let me know.
