The only thing that stopped me moving completely over to FF from
Safari was it's lack of CM, now that it's there I've a convert. I use
it on my Eizo with a custom profile and on my MAC Book Pro with a
canned profile, as custom profiles have sucked for me on the MBP.
Regularly swopping between the two I see no difference in
performance. In both cases the embedded image profile is used as the
source for the conversion to the display profile, just like photoshop.
Sure the quality of display profile is an issue, as is flash players
colour management abilities, but how can the browser be accountable
for either of these things ?
