have control over either of these issues.

By combining the above two suggestions, the gloss differential problem
I've been seeing is almost completely eliminated. Thanks to everyone
who wrote in, I learned a lot.
First I learned that my problem is gloss differential, NOT bronzing.
There was just a specific area around the quarter tones that was way
shinier than the rest of the proof. When looked at obliquely, that
gloss does take on a bronze cast, so that's why I though it was
bronzing. I also learned that ORIS Colortuner does have some control
of GCR & black separation, but I can't control the individual inks,
which is unfortunate. Even with max GCR/CMY reduction Colortuner still
wants to put lots of CMY into neutrals, even when the input is pure
black. This may be the only way it can hit the GRACoL_coated1 target,
but the Ultrachrome K3 Photo black is supposed to reduce gloss
differential and I don't think very much of it gets used in the
problem areas.
By adjusting to max GCR I was able to reduce the gloss differential
about 30-40% and then spraying on Priemier Art Printshield got rid of
the rest. I'd rather not use a messy and somewhat toxic spray if I can
avoid it, so I'm fishing for additional suggestions. Anyone?
