They have to get smarter. Some of these technologies are already available since 10 years.
Gray balance and "unbunt separations" were introduced by Felix Brunner some 25 years
ago. DTP and PostScript took some 15 years, icc-profiles too.
And in spite of that, some printers, designers and photographers like to hate these innovations.
It will take another 10 years to train all the designers and printers to cope with these problems.
Keep talking.
The fat that GCR, TAC and DVL's are part of the discussions on communities such as
colorsync means (I hope) that the acceptance will increase.
