And it takes for ever to move just a tiny bit of this industry in one
direction. There is so much ignorance, technically, it is staggering. And
every client/printer interface is so tightly coupled that any changes have
to be planned years in advance, litteraly. Imagine moving from SWOPv2 to
SWOP2006, which I don't hear a lot of on this List. It's like David against
Goliath. There is so much resistance to change coming from all directions
that it takes super-human efforts to make the change happen. So much so, in
fact, that, at time, I wonder if it's all that worthed. And on top of that,
there is no recognition of any kinds when the change is completed. So where
is the incentive to change?
