We've noticed changes to the Cyan ink that we use on our Epson 9600s.
Two batches of the T5442 ink cartridges marked as:
03.2009 - 011A
10.2009 - 151A
Seem significantly different from the Cyan that we have been using for
the last 3 years.
I haven't got any samples of the previous colours to measure and
compare, but have been alerted to the difference because our FOGRA
proofs jumped from ~1dE to greater than 8dE in the 100% Cyan patch and
we are having real problems getting this back under 3dE.
Has anybody else noticed anything odd with Ultrachrome Cyan?
