I'm looking for some help with Photoshop color management, and you
likely
know much more about it than I.
im not actually a photoshop maven: my interest is colorsync.
My question seems simple, the answer,
apparently not so.
I've calibrated my Samsung LCD monitor and am certain it's dead on.
I'm
using Photoshop CS2, Ilford paper, and a Canon Pro9000 printer. How
do I
tell Photoshop to display the color as I'll see it on my printer?
Is it the
View>Proof Setup setting? I have it set to the Ilford downloaded icc
profile for my paper/printer.
Then, how do I get my printer to display what's on my display? I'm
using
the Ilford downloaded icc and it's not even close.
i don't own a Pro9000 & i'm the wrong person for this type of advice:
you definitely
want to address the whole list. did you turn soft-proofing on
("View>Proof Colors",
Command-Y)?
best of luck,
edward
