I have not seen or used the ColorMunki or the Isis, so I have a question:
Besides the software required to read the measurements from these devices
(ColorMunki and Isis), does this software also generate the ICC profiles?
Can you use the device for measurement and then build profiles with other
software? In other words, what would 100 patch ColorMunki measurements look
like when the profile is built with ProfileMaker, or something else?
Also, you compared a 100 patch ColorMunki profile with a 1700 patch Isis
profile, but have you also compared it to a 100 patch Isis profile?
In other words, are we talking about the device's ability to measure
patches, the software's ability to make good profiles from a small number of
patches, or is it a combination of both?
Thanks.
