Unfortunately, from what is said on the Babel website, their software does not appear to support the Monaco Optix XR (DPT94) - without buying another puck, cuts me out of it, and the great many people who use this excellent colorimeter.

  Mike,

I don't have any experience with the Color Navigator software, but you can
use custom RGB and Lab lists with Danny Pascale's PatchTool to test your
monitor profile. The procedure is described in pages 42-49 of the
  "PatchTool_Help.pdf" user's manual.

I believe that the way to "validate" the monitor profile (if that is the
correct term, which is debatable) is to open a custom CGATS RGB or Lab list
in PatchTool, then launch the "Display Check" command (Tools > Display
  Check).

To check the monitor profile's internal reliability, I think that one has to
set the monitor profile as both Source and Destination, with either RGB or
Lab lists; if one wishes to use a Lab list as just *external* reference, I
believe that in that case the source profile should be set as Lab.

If Danny is reading this, he can possibly either confirm or correct me.

  Thank you.
