It is not the size but the form factor. The Mini ColorChecker is
actually 1/8 inch shorter than the Q-13 but it's short length results
in lots of unused pixels, which rankles some photographers.
Depending on the shooting distance, the size can be a factor, but the
Mini does work quite nicely for a wide variety of situations; small
artworks, product shots and field work come to mind.
