They are? Where and when did they promise to tell anyone outside the company
what their plans were?
Do you expect Adobe, Apple or any other company to inform you of their
plans? Excluding those they put under NDA for the purpose of this or that,
what responsibility does this or any other company have, merger or not, to
tell you what they plan and when? Now if the current products you purchased,
ceased to operate, that be a different issue.

ColorMunki was never intended to be anything but what it is, a new product
for a certain market segment. A segment that isn't professional level. Its
the best you can expect for that segment, at least in terms of the current
hardware. I'd like to see the software polished up, but that's par for the
course. IF indeed you are a professional user of color management X-Rite
(and GMB who really started this years ago) were not aiming to impress you.

The question back should be, why should X-Rite, or any other company inform
you of anything up until they are ready to ship a product? And if indeed
they did, it would be under an NDA, in which case, you wouldn't be asking
here or anywhere else.
Unless the company is going out of the color management business,
something's coming. When, you'll just have to wait and see like everyone
else.
