EIZO Color Edge CG241W off-axis problem?

I've just taken delivery of my first EIZO Color Edge CG241W monitor. It's
beautiful, and after setting it up and profiling it using my DTP-94 and
Color Navigator, I settled in happily. However, as soon as I got up and
walked away, to the side, I noticed a drastic shift in color. This does not
happen with my CG211 monitors, or my Apple Cinema Displays. This is
unexpected, to say the least. On-axis, the color is excellent, matching my
proofs on my GraphicLite box quite closely, but off-axis the color
deteriorates very rapidly. I thought that this was something that had pretty
much been solved in high-end LCDs, but apparently not. Or did I get a bum
one? Anyone else noticed this?
